My paintings reflect a fascination with the microscopic and macroscopic worlds of life.  Looking at life microscopically, we can reconnect to the larger context of nature. Observing a small patch of lichen on a tree or rock, we are reminded of the interconnectedness of living things and the interfaces between living and nonliving.
